Make sure that washing and drying times aren't’t longer than they need to be and that your machines aren't’t using too much water - you’All save yourself lots of money. Try and use a lower heat for washing, this will also save energy.
Watch the Kettle.
If you're a typical british citizen you will defiantly put the kettle on! But make sure you only boil the 
water you need. Filling your kettle up to the top wastes energy and water. Kettles usually have a cup indicator or marker use this as a guide or go the extra mile and buy yourself and energy efficient kettle!
Install Draft Excluders.
External doors, letterbox's and old windows are all prime suspects for bringing in unwanted draft. There are products out there to buy, but why not try and make some of your own!
