Green Roofs

A Green or ‘Living roof’ not only helps make a building become part of the landscape around it, but provides excellent insulation and gives very good storm water retention properties. Although not thought to be in common use, these roofs have been around now since the 1970’s and there are now over 10 million m2 of planted roofs in Europe.

Eco Innovations offer a modular system that can be fitted to any flat roof, (subject to structural checks). The product is pre-grown and delivered to its destination in a ‘ready to lay’ panel. This consists of a water retention and drainage layer, a bio blanket, the substrate and the vegetation. Installation is swift and maintenance is minimal.
