1) Fixing the brackets
When installing Retro Fit solar PV panels Eco Innovations will remove small sections of tiles to fix brackets securely to the rafters of your roof. This will the be tiled back once the bracket is secure. Eco Innovations have their own experienced roofing teams. In some case Eco Innovations will take on a project involving all types of major re-roofing should it be required.
It is important that the brackets are spaced and used correctly this is usually done at the quoting stage using fixing charts and calculations.
2) Mounting the rails
Once all the brackets have been installed securely the mounting rails are then installed. Each bracket is individually bolted onto the rails. The rails installed by Eco Innovations are made from light aluminum.
Cables Layouts are planned in advanced and are generally strapped to the rails in preparation for the Solar Panels.
3) Fixing the Solar panels
The solar panels are then fixed to the mounting rails using specialist fixings.
They are connected together in series each cable is routed back to the inverter where the electricity is converted from AC to DC.
